We have been sharing views and attitudes about CINEMA since about age 8. We've come along way from the Wayne Art Center, where we critiqued the cinematic merits of Charles and Diana's wedding. (Well, Kate provided the critique; Emily just continued working with her cray-pas.) But one thing has remained the same over all these years: we love film, and, perhaps more importantly, we love talking about it. So get the popcorn ready, and feel free to join our conversation.

This was not actually posted by Em, but rather by my blogger husband, mpomy. And the "it's always Oscar season" comment is a reference to my awesome little almost 17-month old nephew, Oscar. Be prepared for many, many more jokes about his name as the award season kicks into full gear.
